Dialogue about my life as a student


Julie: Hello!
Lisa: Good morning!
Julie: Please take a seat.
Lisa: Thanks.
Julie: When did you start and finish high school?
Lisa: I started high school in 2010 and I finished in 2012.
Julie: When did you decide to attend this course.
Lisa: I decided at the end of last year.
Julie: When did you start university?
Lisa: This year. I started in February.
Julie: Where was your first job?
Lisa: In a  school near my home.
Julie: Did you like it?
Lisa: I loved my job.
Julie: Were your colleagues nice?
Lisa: Yes, my colleagues were very nice.
Julie: Was your boss friendly?
Lisa: Yes, but she was very serious.
Julie: Ok. Thank you! See you!

Lisa: Bye!

My Last Trip...


Mel: Hello!
Anne: Oh, hi! Where did you go on holidays?
Mel: I went to Florianópolis.
Anne: Really? It’s very nice!
      How long did the journey take?
Mel: The journey took two days.
Anne: When did you leave and arrive?
Mel: I left at 8:00 a.m. from Blumenau and I arrived in Florianópolis at 11:00 a.m.
Anne: When did you come home?
Mel: I came home at 11:00 pm on Sunday.
Anne: Where did you leave from?
Mel: I left from my aunt´s house.
Anne: Who did you meet?
Mel: I met my family.
Anne: It’s good! Oh, I need  to go! Bye!
Mel: See you!

Waiter: Good afternoon!
Miss Silva: Good afternoon. Table for two, please.
Waiter: Smoking or non-smoking?
Miss Silva: Non-smoking.
Waiter: This way, please. Here's the menu.
Miss Silva: Thank you.
Mr. Carson: What are your specialties?
Miss Silva: It’s Acarajé, Beirute, Bobó de Camarão, Arroz de Carreteiro and  Feijoada.
Mr. Carson: What’s “Arroz de Carreteiro” like?
Miss Silva: It’s a typical rice dish from de South of Brazil, with shredded or chopped sun-dried beef, sausage, garlic, onion, tomato, parsley and chives.
Mr. Carson: What’s “Bobó de Camarão”like?
Miss Silva: It’s a typical baked dish from Bahia, made with shrimp, coconut milk, dendê oil and creamed manioc.
Mr. Carson: What do you recommend to eat and drink?     
Miss Silva: I recommend  Arroz de Carreteiro, and to drink Caipirinha.
Caipirinha is a cocktail made from cachaça, lime and sugar.
Mr Carson: Ok!
Waiter: Are you ready to order?
Miss Silva: Yes. For me, Arroz de Carreteiro and fruit juice. And for him, Arroz de Carreteiro and  caipirinha.
Waiter: Wait a moment please. I will prepare your order.
Miss Silva: Ok.

What I eat on a normal day


Breakfast
A coffee and a sandwich.
Morning Snack
Some cookies or a special sweet cookie called “Orelha de gato”

Lunch
Rice, beans, meat, salad and some fruit juice.

Afternoon snack
 Chocolate croissant.
Dinner
Some coffee and a sandwich.
